We learn German by reading Pirandello. The course is also suitable for beginners with basic knowledge. All the examples come from the same source: a very special story by Luigi Pirandello. We do not want to give anything away in advance, just this: The story is definitely dark. It challenges social conventions and allows the exploration of extreme, morally ambiguous emotions and situations. It manages to create a sense of suspense and intrigue that keeps readers glued to the pages, eager to find out what happens next. Through the individual lessons, students slowly discover all the details: in English and German at the same time. By the end, they will be able to read, summarise and recite the text in both languages.
